Marina Catala

Executive Producer  Showrunner

Marina is a New York-based Showrunner and Executive Producer who has made hundreds of hours of TV for networks such as ABC, NBC, CBS and Netflix. She received an MFA in Editing from the AFI Conservatory in 2003, and started her career editing reality competition shows such as The Biggest Loser, The Amazing Race and Big Brother.

After several years as an editor, a desire for more creative input propelled Marina out of the edit chair, and she oversaw the Post departments of shows like Ink Master and I Used to Be Fat. She then took her command of Post Production and applied it to all aspects of Production - from development to field producing - when she became the Executive Producer of the comedy series Impractical Jokers, along with its spin-offs After Party, Jokers Wild and Inside Jokes.

She is currently the Showrunner of Impractical Jokers, which is in its 9th season on TruTV.
